The CMStrade Follow-uP is a subsystem to manage the many tasks that need to be done for the different events of the various operations in a trading business.

The set of specific tasks you define for an event (e.g. acceptance, issue, ve­ri­fi­ca­tion, confirmation, etc.) of an ope­ra­tion (e.g. contract, invoice, etc.) will be crea­ted each time the event occurs.

Each generated task shows who is res­pon­si­ble, by when, etc. A task spe­ci­fic to an item, voucher, etc., keeps this re­la­tion for reference.

Besides the defined tasks created, ad hoc tasks can be added as needed.

Together the tasks constitute a to-do list for the person/s concerned.

The pending tasks can be reviewed by the department head, to re-assign and re-schedule them if required.

The completion of a task itself can be an event that creates the next tasks to do, and so on.

Though nominally important for physical trade operations, FP can be set up for other applications in the software.

FP can also be used standalone, i.e. not re­fe­re­n­ced to any application, as a ty­pi­cal agen­da software.

The completed tasks are catalogued for analysis to identify hinderances and to op­ti­mi­se work procedures.

You can thus use FP to improve your company’s efficiency and service.
